Some images of the Forest Folk that we made as part of the Wooplaw 25 celebrations this month up at Wooplaw Community Woodlands. These wee gadjies went down a treat with bairns, and adults alike. Some great colours and hair -do's don't you think. We are going to leave them in the woods to look after the trees in Axehead and Gullet Woods.

Oh my God ! Take a look at these fantastic constructions made by a brilliant team that came to our first Willow Chair day of the year. They coppiced out some big willow, selected and measured, designed and built six beautiful chairs for their homes and gardens. all managed to get them into the transport home. The guys at Big Tree always look forward to this course at Wooplaw because its so free flowing, free form and just really inspiring for us to watch the shapes, and structures taking shape. This is their work ....... AWESOME !!!!!! Keith, Dave, Eoin and Belen were out on a balmy January day cutting Hazel at Wooplaw for the Hazel stick courses coming off later in the year. Some amazing growth since keith last coppiced them four years ago. Sign up for either the Hazek Stick Chair or Hedge Chair days on the booking form.
