 A massive thank you to all course participants over the past two years for giving us so many fantastic endorsements. This has (amongst other awards) just gained the first Platinum Award from the biggest Craft Courses site in Britain. During... this time you have made over 300 pieces of amazing greenwood furniture. Some good news articles from our friends in Community Woodland work here in Scotland Forgot to put up some images of the course last month .. sorry guys. A great day's making by all of you. Most of you travelling for some distance to take part too .. thanks for the commitment and care that you took in the making process. Brilliant furniture again form complete novices !!!! Not any more .... Great bunch of makers here at The Big Tree Society this weekend. Despite the damp start we all got finished up in the sunshine by the end of the day. Really good skills being displayed, - fast and attentive learners. I'm sure a couple of these guys had done it before ... naturals. Thanks for all the craic lads ..., hope to see some of you back for a chair making weekend perhaps. |
