As a former history teacher and lifelong lover of history, his ethos and his approach draws heavily on creating a connection to the past. Through using the techniques, skills and approach of traditional craftspeople we keep that craft alive in the hands and hearts of makers. So it all fits pretty well with everything we do here at Big Tree Society.
We have added in three new courses to our 2025 calendar to include a Cutlers Stool, a High Bar Stool and a Square Framed bench all using traditional hand tooling and green wood techniques.
