Framed Bench – Douglas Fir
Join us to learn how to use traditional Medieval joinery techniques to create a fantastic bench from beautiful Scottish Douglas Fir. The two-day course will take you through the fundamentals of square framed joinery, using traditional tools and techniques to build a fantastic functional piece of furniture for your garden or hallway in a beautiful outdoor setting.
We ask all participants to bring lunch, warm working clothes and strong sensible footwear. We gather up at 9.30 for a cuppa, meet the others and get started by 10, working through until about 5. If you need suggestions for accommodation see here .
