High Bar stool – Ash and Sycamore
A variation of classic British vernacular furniture for your home. Join us for a two-day course to learn how to make a traditional American three-legged bar stool, a standard sight in the pre prohibition USA. Using traditional tools and techniques, you will be guided and taught how to take some beautiful Scottish timber and transform it into a stylish, functional, and beautiful piece of green wood furniture.
We ask all participants to bring lunch, warm working clothes and strong sensible footwear. We gather up at 9.30 for a cuppa, meet the others and get started by 10, working through until about 5. If you need suggestions for accommodation see here .
