"Sitooterie" Bench : July 31st 2021 : FULLY BOOKED

We have been asked by some past attendees if we can put on a "garden bench, long four legged stool to sit two folks on sort of course". So here it is! Make four ash legs from the round log, make four tenons, auger out your mortices at the proper splay and put in hidden wedges. Sculpt the bench top a little and there it is ready for the garden, workshop, patio, conservatory. (A sitooterie is a Scots colloquial name for a place to sit out in)
We ask all participants to bring lunch, warm working clothes and strong sensible footwear. We gather up at 9.30 for a cuppa, meet the others and get started by 10, working through til about 5. If you need suggestions for accommodation see here.
